Mixed Asian Media and the MAM Fest are remotely produced from the Munsee Lenape (MUHN-see Leh-NAH-pay), Canarsie (Ca-NAR-see), and Lekawe (leh-KAH-weh) territories in — what’s now known as — New York, as well as the Chochenyo Ohlone (choh-chen-yo) (oh-lone-EE) territory in the San Francisco Bay Area. We acknowledge our locations on these unceded territories and recognize the centuries of violence and oppression faced by its Indigenous peoples. We affirm and pay our respects to elders of the past, present, and emerging.
