It's A Hard NOC Life For Me

I. Love. Podcasts. Maybe it’s because I’m a child of the radio era, or maybe it’s because my commute is 45 minutes. Either way, I listen to more MINUTES OF podcasts than I DO MINUTES OF music. I’m always searching for new podcasts, but there’s so many podcasts that cover so many topics, sometimes it’s overwhelming.

But podcast junkies know where their favorite podcasts live. In a podcast collective, of course! Podcast networks and collectives are a one-stop shop. There’s Earwolf, Headgum, NPR, Potluck Podcast Collective, and so many more. Well, now, there’s a new collective in town!

Hard NOC Media is a podcast collective focusing on podcasts with producers of color. Keith Chow of the blog The Nerds Of Color started the collective. It will include Keith’s podcast Hard NOC Life, Southern Fried Asian, as well as We’re Not All Ninjas, produced by me and co-hosted by Hapa Mag’s Alex Chester. But you don't have to listen to me! Here's a quote from Keith himself:

“I wanted to build upon the platform we started with The Nerds of Color and Hard NOC Media allows us to do just that. The collection of podcasts we're assembling under the Hard NOC umbrella is designed to amplify the diverse array of stories that are out there and get them into as many ears as possible.”

So make sure to subscribe We’re Not All Ninjas, Hard NOC Life, and Southern Fried Asian on iTunes and follow Hard NOC Media for more information!
