HM Yoga: Fall Flow and Postures
By Rebecca Lee Lerman
Join Hapa Mag's resident yoga instructor Rebecca Lee Lerman in some simple poses to counter the upcoming windy fall season. Rebecca is a 200 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor from House of Jai Yoga. She teaches a very grounding, alignment based vinyasa flow, with attention to breath and letting go.
As we start to get busier, it's important to get grounded, feel our root chakras and find some restorative yin postures. Rebecca demonstrates and guides in the video above (with some help from Oscar the dog at the end).
Rebecca Lee Lerman is a New York City based writer and performer. Her plays and screenplays were featured at Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, The Midtown International Theatre Festival, Universe Multicultural Film Festival and We So Hapa, which celebrates people of mixed race. Most recently, PheLerm Productions, for which she is writer, participated in the 72 Hour Shootout competition, and their short film was selected as the top 40 out of 400 to be screened at the Asian American Film Festival.

“When Hapas see my pop-up shop, even if they don’t decide to get anything, I can tell that having a brand that is dedicated to them makes them happy and excited because it’s creating a space where they know they will always be accepted.”
